Geoflow subsurface drip systems solve many of the issues that plague traditional methods of wastewater dispersal. Treated effluent is dispersed underground (subsurface) and is absorbed in the biologically active soil layer, which prevents surfacing or ponding, run-off, and odors.
Issues such as overspray and aerosol drift are eliminated, dose scheduling is unaffected by land use or weather, and it is a politically and environmentally favorable means of dispersing or reusing wastewater.
Secondary treated wastewater in tandem with subsurface drip irrigation eliminates the ongoing cost of additional effluent treatment, such as tertiary or enhanced nitrogen removal.
