  1. The biobarrier product must be placed a minimum of 6 feet from the body of water.
  2. Use in irrigation system components is limited to crops for which trifluralin (Treflan* herbicide) is registered as a soil-applied treatment.

Directions for Use

Products such as sewer gaskets, extruded geotextile fabric or netting, crack filling material, drip irrigation emitters, or similar products for uses as indicated above, manufactured in organic polymeric carriers impregnated with trifluralin and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions will inhibit root encroachment for extended periods of time.

End-use products manufactured employing technology developed and patented by Battelle Memorial Institute should be used to inhibit plant root encroachment.
